Tractor Sales

After a slow start to the year it has been a bumper few months for us with 4 McCormick Tractors sold in September on top of the 2 sold off the stand at the New Forest Show!

In fact the McCormicks have proven so popular that when our new demonstrator arrived at the beginning of October it was sold the next day!

A couple more are booked to leave in November and needless to say our yard is starting to look a little bare! But fear not we will shortly be taking delivery of our new demo machines an X6040 and a MC130 and loader.

Introducing the New X Series

Developed as an evolution of the McCormick CX range, the new X60 series is designed to be even more powerful and reliable than its predecessor.
Offered in the X60.20, X60.30, X60.40 and X60.50 (T3) models, this new tractor range provides increased performance greater versatility and reduced operating costs.

Grants

Forestry businesses and contractors in the New Forest are able to apply for grant support for the purchase of new or second-hand equipment and machinery.

These grants are provided through the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).

Further information is available at www.newforestleader.org.uk, but in summary:

Grants of £1,000 - £50,000 are available at up to 50% of the cost of the equipment/machinery.

Grants are only available for land-based business located in the New Forest RDPE (Leader) area. There is a map of this area on the website.

Machinery for agricultural production is not eligible for grant funding.

Grant applications must be approved before the expenditure is made.

Free help and support is available throughout the application process.

Show Season 2011

This month sees the start of the show season with the New Forest and Hampshire Show. The dates for the show are Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th July 2011.
